    72% Growth In Earnings Per Share Reported By Microsoft

    On the back of, what it classes as robust demand for Windows Vista and the Office 2007 system, Microsoft has announced growth in earnings per share, to a tune of 72%.

    I read recently that MS had made more from vista than they had forecast. This, supposedly, is due to people buying far more of (retail, not oem) ultimate vista than basic/home than expected.

    As the price difference between basic and ultimate is vast, you can see where the profit comes from.

    right con, vista is too expensive tbh, it is a good OS, but....it could stil use some work, and there are better out there if you look

    but the increase is definatly due to vista, and people wanting the ultimate bits to it
