not so sure about #3 AW: DS. It's ok but there are other better games out (like Castlevania).

Have to admit, never played AW. Didn't think it would poll so high. And I hope it wasn't you HEXUS readers who were voting for Nintendogs! Shame on you.

Damn shame that Sonic Rush isn't in there. It is definitely one of the best i have played.

    Hmm.

I think one of the main problems with the DS is that many of the best games aren't released here in the UK/EU (whether they think we don't have a sense of humour or something) - games like Elite Beat Agents, Tingle RPG (not to mention the games that take months to arrive over here).

As for the results of the poll, it doesn't surprise me - Mario was pretty certainly going to come out near the top. Mario Kart too, a known favourite. I like AW, but it wouldn't put in in the top three, i would put Contact higher up definitely. Hotel Dusk was one of the best releases in a loong time, it must be one of the few games that actually showcases the DS features in all their glory.

I guess what i'm trying to say is that i think we're too drawn in by the major games series' - yes, i agree, Mario and Zelda are fantastic, but they're not necesarily the best.

Yeah, I'd have Hotel Dusk in the Top Ten. Elite Beat Agents is due out in June here!

Yeah, I've got Mario Brothers but was a little disappointed that bomberman wasn't there with the new Voice Bomb/Detonate modes.
    Woohoo now Assistant Manager!
