there was a review on gamerzine.com today and it only got 60% they said really dated gameplay and graphics
def staying well clear of this.. why oh why does it have to run on vista, its nowhere near dx10 standards and if all about the "live" part of it then why are we not allowed to have pc vs xbox i.e mouse n keyboard vs controller....he he that would shut some of the xbox slags @ work up...
yeah i've read a few things about shadowrun, will have to wait before making judgement although at the moment its looking very interesting. i havent got vista yet and i wont for a while yet, but when i do i will look at this microsoft live, def wont go for gold no-way im paying, i'm all up for giving the pc more options for playing games co-op/lan. Silver's enough to have a good time.
Yeah, good thing about the PC version of live is you get to play online for free. But since I already have a gold account because of my 360 (it's the same account for both PC and 360) I get all the bells and whistles.
The problem with Halo 2 is it wasn't designed with the intention of making a PC release, there was also no capability for cross platform play, so it's not possible to do cross platform play without a lot of modification to the original xbox game. Shadowrun however, was designed with this in mind, so hopefully we'll see more games that do this, although I'm sure the 360 owners will get annoyed with getting pwnedI'm sure some of the best 360 players would still be more than a match for the average PC player.
runs smoothly on my system, and it looks like DX8 revisited so I wouldn't expect any hardware issues!
