The new firmware doesnt boot games which havent been patched correctly therefore it will be a little harder for Microsoft to detect, although I am sure they will and then a new firmware will come out again - similar to the PSP situation ....
Saying that though I know a few users that still have the older 5.3 firmware on the console and havent been banned from Live as yet.
Looks like the game of cat and mouse has begun

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
