Headline :: Titan develop new cooling solution for Xbox 360

Titan are on the verge of launching the XFan, another cooling solution for your Xbox 360 which they hope will match the success of Nyko's Intercooler.

    Check out the Headline

Has anyone here bought the Intercooler? I'd be interested to know whether they think it makes any difference.

I was put off the intercooler by reports that it actually lessens the life of your 360 while not making a lot of difference. Mind yo, I've not tried it myself so can't comment.

There are reports that the intercooler can melt and burn, and some people had posted pics of their burnt intercoolers. That completely put me off buying one. Had my 360 in a AV cabinet for 10 months now no probelm. The air coming out is warm, but never had any overheating problems, so dont think im going to waste any money on coolers when im having no problems

Had an intercooler, made huge amounts of difference to the heat being pushed out of my 360. Talk about life span reduction is absolute rubbish, the only thing that happens is that it melts the power socket on the 360 if you don't put it in properly.

The only reason I took mine off was because it made an annoying grinding noise (the kind of noise you get after you've had a case fan in a PC for a few years and the bearing starts to go, this was after about two weeks use).

EDIT: I like the look of that cooler, if the fans are good quality, I might buy myself one if the price is right.
