I'll be frank.. i've never heard of four of them (webinar, blook, vlog, folksonomy). I think noob should be at the top of that list.
I hate all those "onomy" ones, it's like they were made up for the sake of making some words up.
'pwn' if i hear one more kid use this i might have to strangle them.
i got to admit i do find myself saying lol now and again..
but some i think are fine to go in the dictionary such as wiki and cookie, but yeh the onomy are just completely made up false words.
and btw, isnt User-Generated content three words? :)
Must say, of the ones I know, I dont have a issue with any of those in the list. "l337" should be right up there. Need a TCP/IP slapping device for the kids that use it. "im so l33... *SMACK*" ah.. if only.
Every time I see "after the jump" on a blog, I develop the urge to punch the writer in the face.
Just adapt the slap in the face device :) Wow how we could market it...
I find the 'text shorthand' even worse. It's almost understandable why it's used on mobile phones, you have a limit on the number of characters in your message, but people then insist on speaking in it constantly on the Internet, in games, in forums. It's annoying, it's like the majority of Internet users can't be bothered to use the 26 letters of the alphabet in words more than four letters long. Punctuation's even worse.
Also, I agree with Whiternoise and spazman, all derivations of the 'words' "n00b" and "pwn" have got to be some of the worst things we've made in a long time.
Agree with the calls for "noob" and "pwn" to be added ! I'd have to add "fanboy" to those too.
Also "teh". I really, really, really loathe that. Really. Especially when combined with any of the three words above. I feel an urge to slap myself now for typing it.
