Agreed, absolutely loved WipeOut when it first appeared on PSOne.

Have they announced the price drop for the PS3 in Europe yet?

How do you know that? Wipeout on PS2 looked promising, but when it was released it was the worst game in the series. I do hope that its good, but this time i won't be holding my breath.

This says there definitely won't be a price cut in the Europe, nor the 80GB drive. Way to go Sony.

Cool, nice way to get Europeans to resent you even more Sony, real nice. I'm not paying £125 more than the US customers for a console with less storage space and without the emotion engine.

They are bloody fools. Until we have some sort of parity with the states they can keep their console.

    Reported here too:

At this price it's almost as cheap to fly to the US, buy one and fly back. You'd probably get a better deal in duty free too!

With all the bad press right now regarding the xbox360's reliability, you would of thought Sony would capitalise more on it with a price cut than throwing in a extra pad and 2 games.

It's actually at the same price point as the 60gig before the drop..

It's a pity Sony didn't drop the price in Europe instead of that pretty lame bundle, but then I already have mine..
