    Wargames Winner Swipes 50 Incher

Philips amBX sponsored Introversion's DEFCON global championship and the winner made off with a stack of prizes, including a top of the range 50" TV - despite being of the youngest players there. The prize was, literally, WAY bigger than the winner...
    Watch the show.

Was amazing to see that little guy kick adult butt and take the top prize...

...as you can see from the scores in the final - there was very little mercy shown

Im glad to see Defcon doing well almost a year since it was launched

I really am a fan of the game, and it really doesnt seem that long ago that I was waiting for my key to be emailed to me, to then find that the servers had crashed with every1 trying to get hold of the game!

We should get some Hexus Defcon going

Was very funny interviewing him with a bunch of 'geezers' before the final kicked off

Abdul was so cheeky - and 100% confident...

    ...but it was well-placed !

He seemed slightly disappointed when Philips/Introversion offered to deliver the 50" screen by secure courier...

...but there was NO WAY he could pick up such a product

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when he told his parents that 'all that time wasted playing computer games' had just had an immediate/significant/lasting impact on the whole family's quality of life !
