Playstation Home delayed until further notice

Sony's Playstation Home, the community-based which will allow PS3 users to interact, communicate, join online games, shop, share private content and even build and show off their own personal spaces to others in real time, will not be released this year, as was expected.

Re: Playstation Home delayed until further notice

I know a lot of PS3 owners who were using this to justify the purchase, I think its going to hit Sony hard.

Their xmas line up isn't looking too impressive, even more so when you consider that MS have Halo3 and Wii has fit and maybe smash brothers coming out. This is on the back of GTA being delayed as well.

Going to be a hard winter for Sony console sales i think.

Re: Playstation Home delayed until further notice

nah this wasnt the title to save them this xmas, its going to ok plenty of good games coming out over xmas (and before) to keep us going, i think this is more novelty than anything but i was looking forward to it. It's more the fact that it was supposed to be ready now this, still nothing new really. As for justifying the purchase!! there is no reason to justify a purchase of a ps3.

the 360 is no better though. this generation of gaming sucks, u either have a console that breaks every 10 mins that has good quality games or you have a console that works when you want it too but has no games and costs more than an arm and a leg.

Re: Playstation Home delayed until further notice

... I still predict that, in another year to 18 months time, the PS3 will be dominant though. Home is pretty Meh for me personally. PS3 + rumble (at last) + price cut + games = 2008.

Hope so, then it'll come down to a reasonable price and I can pick one up.

I'd be impressed if they dropped the price only a couple of months after their 'value' bundle deal. I think they'll hold out until the big guns of GT GTA MSG come out so they can sell as many full priced consoles as possible before a price reduction.

I've been waiting 2 years for an xbox price reduction so i can finally get one it's a far cry from my first xbox1 that was reduced by £100 after 2 weeks
