    Fabregas?
I started as Arsenal, so he's not a problem.
Although Denilson got annoyed when i bought Van der Vart and requested a transfer.

I'm playing as leicester, and was 20th in January, but now it's April, and i'm up to 12th, and can still push for a play-off place

The closing down issue is a bug, seemingly its going to be fixed in a patch. Apparently it was too effective in testing, so they tweaked it, now its far to lax. To counter it, stick on tight marking and make sure your closing down is set at 15+. After doing that I've had no real complaints with the game, seems to be more fun than I've had with the last few

No matter how many games i lose i seem to always be addicted to going back and playing the game but it is really annoying at times, especially ive found on 2 player.. 2 managers me and my m8 play it and he didn't touch the training or player settings etcccccccc
and i did everything.. to mine yet... i lost all my games out of 6 and he won all 6 .
He was west ham and i was Man City, i just find this game rather un-realistic to be honest.

Re: Review :: Football Manager 2008 - PC

What I usually do is playing in the standard 4 4 2 formation and sometimes screw arround with the arrow settings (in tactics hold CTRL and move a player to a diff position)
Or I make a sort of diamond, with only 1 attacker and usually focus my entire game on the midfield.

The thing I always do is, when playing with 4 defenders, I always noticed I was getting a lot of goals against in the counter.
So I always tend to change the wing defenders way of playing, they are by default set to "attack a lot" when your team got the ball, I set that back to Random and conceive way less goals that way, hence my defenders tend to stay back a bit more lol xd

A player I always (try to) buy is Naldo, his a pretty known player in FM2008, but his one great central defender, scouts say his 'almost at his top' but when you train with him for a while his stats keep improving nonetheless, his almost unbeatable in the air, his fairly cheap aswell for a "world class defender"

Giovanni Dos Santos is a huge talent also, and some Central defender from Juventus who is pretty young, sad enough both of them play at top teams (Santos at Barcelona) and probably won't be leaving that fast...
