These are fantastic!!!!! and apart from being great for personal user - have masses of uses in Education.
As standard theyre very useful - they can also connect to a terminal server if you want to give a fully featured windows desktop.
Or, you can go a bit mad and install Windows XP on there if you so wish. The 4GB version has plenty of room!
Inspirational, maybe even revoloutionary?
Butuz
You can slap an SD card in for more space too or even run XP off that. TBH though, ya don't need too - linux does the job well enough (despite being bloody fiddly to configure) for what this machine is intended for. I think the surprise is how this has become an enthusiast's toy - not it's originally intended market. People have managed to add hard drives, bluetooth and more memory already..
When you see/play with one you'll want one.. It's the size, the size..
I've been keeping an eye out of these, but they seem to be going the same way as the Wii (maybe it's a name thing ) and they're out of stock everywhere. If you decide to open it early, let us know what you think.
Been reading reviews etc, I want one - just 'cause it looks a cool gadget!
