Hooray!.. no more rebooting the windows mobile pda every couple of days! Replaced by a rock solid Linux based device, about time too!

heh, its funny actually, my axim case actually has a hole in it where the reset button is.... never used to have that with good old palm pilots and handspring visors.

Its always going to be good for the consumer when big rivals try and punch it out for first place, technology gets enhanced and price wars bring down prices for the consumer. So i'm interested to see a phone which will be able to run open source apps, as well as commercially available ones.
I''d be interested to see how intrusive the free advertising would be, and what other features google would use to target this (gps tracking for relevant offers for example).

if it runs linux, i would be willing to bet money that within a week it will be hacked to remove the adds. :)
