Bet it's as good as the Little Britain video game that got some sub-40 score in PC Gamer

Re: Eidos secure rights to Eastenders videogame

It'll probably be rubbish and will almost definitely sell very few copies indeed.

If I could be bothered I would draw a Venn diagram of people who buy computer games against people who have a great interest in Eastenders. It would look like a bird's eye view of Grant Mitchell headbutting Phil Mitchell...

    oh no, I've been rumbled.

Well, they're almost certain it's out this month. I was going to post about it, but they have said that there is still one more thing that they're waiting for, for Microsoft to approve.

So, it's still not 100%, but they seem confident.

Re: Eidos secure rights to Eastenders videogame

I dunno... with the amount of people who die in Walford at a fairly regular basis I reckon a FPS would be fun. Imagine playing as Pat Butcher firing those gold earrings at high speed at everyone or playing as Peggie and using her subsonic scream of " Phil " or "Grant" to render the opposition stunned like a flashbang while she batters them over the head with the bust of Queen Vic.

Saying that a "hitman" style game where you've got to knock off the cast would also be a fun idea... but I bet nothing I've type will appear in it.

It'd probably be amusing for at least 5 minutes if you could go on a rampage and kill the entire cast.

Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! it's just wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong!

Who the hell is their target audience on this one? Unless they do a Postal style take on it, it can only be pants... and old soiled ones at that.

I would soooo buy that game! Sniping out of the squares windows and taking out people working in the market

Anything related to Hitman/GTA would be comedy but lets face it, it will be some random piece of crap where you walk around the square "living the eastend life"
