    yup, instead of getting toxins released into the ground, let them get released into the lungs of people in china that get paid a dollar a day....

    Eh??? That's not cynicism that's crazy talk. The phones will only leech toxins into the groundwater when they're left to rot in soil where being immersed in a damp environment oxidises the metals and plastics over time.


    Getting the phones out to third world countries to be reused is a good thing! Though it would be properly cynical to say that also means they're the ones that have to worry about dumping them after they're done using them
