Must admit this is good news alround.
When doing a new connection to the network I enter the PAC code and mobile number to be ported over. Then the timescale from then is a week. 5 days with a weekend, so if you do it on a Monday it won't finally port till the following Monday. At least this will allow people to get switched over a lot quicker and don't have to deal with retention teams constantly on their backs to stay.
At times it can also put people off having to wait a week. Occasionally get a few customers back within that week wanting 14 day disconnections as the retention teams have managed to get customers to stay by constantly calling them. It will help sales on all the networks become more streamlined with happy customers.
