Dark Knight: Wanna see this, end of, its got Keysi in it as well..
Indy: Always a fan when younger, hopefully it wont dissapoint but, well it probably will
Bond: About time Bond was back, seriously out done by the likes of Bourne but DC's a good Bond so we'll see where it goes..
AvsP:R: AvsP was pretty naff tbh, hopefully AvsP2 wont be the P2 to the original..
Righteous Kill: RD and AP, both brilliant, hope the story holds them both.
The rest, wait until there on DVD...
Hadn't seen the latest Cloverfield trailer....looks pretty cool, and certainly given the scale of things, one to be seen at the cinema.

Did they change the name to Cloverfield? In my local cinema the poster has in the middle just "2008". I thought that was what it was called xD.
Watching the trailer the first thing I think is it reminds me of what a prequel to HL2 would be like, with the 7hour war.
Looking forward to Indy, although I have to confess to being rather excited at the next Harry Potter film.

Nemz0r, they have mate. It was a movie that had no name originally so they just called it by release date. It is now officially known as Cloverfield.
I'm really looking to Wall-E, it sounds like Pixar's take on ET!
Noooooo, AVP was supposed to come out christmasy time, gonna have to find something else to watch boxing day!
Just checked wiki and it appears that 2008 is also the year of video game movie adaptions for games like Dungeon Siege, and Postal.
I'm also surprised that Xfiles didn't make the list.... argh!
Woohoo now Assistant Manager!
AvPR is still Christmas time in the US, but 2008 for the UK.
oooh, X-Files, that I'll look forward too. I liked the first one.
Parm: any info on the next Supe's film?
Sure is David. At present it has the name "Superman: The Man of Steel" but that could change. It's pencilled in for a 2009 release but hasn't yet started production, the writers strike are apparantly holding it up but I think Warner Bros are on the fence too after not getting the success they expected with Superman Returns.
There's a movie I completely forgot about and it not making the list is almost criminal!
The movie is Burton's Sweeney Todd. It's scheduled for release in the UK on January 25th.
Yay for the silly movie companies and their staggered release across the world.
You'd think they would do a global launch ( digital distribuition to the cinemas ) that way they wouldn't have as much of a problem of people pirating their hard work.
There's nothing worse than waiting 6 months for a film thats been on release in America already, to find loads spoilers and reviews on the interweb, spoiling it all for us that have to wait.
[EDIT] Expect more games to movies in the future. I reckon this is going to be going on and on more now because the film studios get a clientbase who all want to watch the film as it's based on a game they like, and add this to the fact that think most gamers have quite a lot of money to be able to purchase these games.

Any idea if a real Alien film is likely to happen?
Not that I know of David.
Bit of worrying news on the next Supes film though, if indeed it does go ahead, the interwebs are abuzz with gossip that Routh won't be playing Superman. Personally I think it's all gossip and nothing more, but that's what is going around nonetheless!
