Re: Nintendo's Xmas gift on Wii virtual console

I thought being a Christmas gift and all, it'd be free!

Are neither Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony giving away anything for free this Christmas? Bah humbug!

Get on the phone to them Steven, we want freebies!

Yeah, true. I was hoping for something slightly more festive on the VC.

Not quite free, but (according to that new news tab thingy on the dashboard) MS are letting you download the HD version of the film '300' for 100 pts on the 28th December instead of however many pts it usually costs. Noticed it yesterday before it died. Was tempted as I haven't seen 300 yet, but as my 360 is no more, I won't be able to.

So not quite free from Nintendo, not quite free from Microsoft.

Come on Sony, this is your opportunity!

Re: Nintendo's Xmas gift on Wii virtual console

Yeah, but they want us to work extra hours to afford one.

Not quite free from Nintendo, not quite free from Microsoft, and longer working hours from Sony! Worst Christmas ever!

Re: Nintendo's Xmas gift on Wii virtual console

Not really a good gift if you have to pay for it as has been mentioned. These games would be more appealing if they are priced more reasonably, £3.50 for "abandonware" is really quite poor, even worse for the more costly titles (especially as it costs more in the UK than elsewhere).
