    Dell unveil new display port tech in the UltraSharp 3008WFP

    Dell have unveiled the UltraSharp 3008WFP here at CES 2008, the first monitor to feature DisplayPort technology which is a USB sized port that offers up double the performance of DVI and is supported by VESA.

    Your article says the 3008-WFP has a 177% colour gamut, i think you mean 117%. I don't think even the LED backlit models have reached 177% NTSC yet.

    Same res as the 3007WFP .. Glad they have finally taken a hint and added more than just a single Dvi port!!.. Price tag going to be hefty tho!

    Not just the price tag. I remember comparing the power comsumption of the 30in Dell 3007 to the 24in 2407, and opted for the 24in model. I simply didn't want to use 2.5 times as much energy.
    (The 30in will use more than a basic computer would (at idle).)
