capacative touch responds to tiny electrical charges, hmm have they tried it in the middle of a lightning storm, or even in a room with lots of wool and nylon. your media center might go a bit beserk, or it could fry the screen.

i still want one though, my current Nad HTR 1 got a bit broke when i dropped a hammer on it. (might buy a second as a spare, i keep breaking techy stuff)

Unfortunately no euro specific model and thus no colour buttons - useless for me, use them all the time with my PVR.

Many Samsung and LG (and other?) mobile phones have this technology in them now. It looks cool, but can be a bit of a pain, as there's no button 'feel', and it's easy to accidentally press a button without realising it (like when I disconnected a call with my cheek a few days ago...)
