This Time Capsule thing doesn't sound too bad.. can you use it as a NAS box?

EDIT: Just seen the price premium we pay in the UK - £329 - no ta! I'd rather just buy a Thecus..

Looks cool, would be handy, as there is times where i have lost important data and files.

Bare in mind its a wireless N gigabyte router as well as a nas.

£329, is a hell of a lot to pay for a NAS box thats only 1TB, with no upgrade support?

Its not just a NAS its a nas and an airport extreme which by themselves are over £110, when I first saw the price I thought christ thats pricey. Taking that into the price its not bad. It can be expanded via the usb port, not perfect but a ok solution.

which is worth the money because?

airport extreme price tag is a little high don't ya think?

When you consider that everything this does, all be it you've had to use 3rd party software for, has been nocking about for years at a far lower cost, its hardly exciting.

My boss wanted a portable HDD, he ended up going for a NAS type one because it was only an extra £50, which he felt was more than resonable.

This price is to high (imo) and has no upgrade support (no empty bays like many of the NAS devices on the market).

But then again, i'm not a fan of apple products, the only one i've come close to liking is the iPod touch, and even then all i want it to be is a remote (its a really **** music player, poor storage, interoperability, battery life, size)

I'm not aware of a single combined wireless n router and nas drive with gigabyte networking? Good wireless N routers aren't exactly cheap either.
