Re: Xbox 360 sales up by 70% from 2006

Looks like I might be getting another one soon.

Is it because my first one is faulty? Is it due to it developing a fault?

No not at all... it's because my housemate likes FIFA and a few other choice games that much it's hard to get on the console at certain times of the night/weekend.

Mine only works one way. Stand it on its end it works, put it flat red rings. So really I should send it in for repair, but its been moths now and not a flicker if I stand it on end.

So stand your 360s on end people, you are probably less likely to have it die. Maybe.

Re: Xbox 360 sales up by 70% from 2006

had mine since dec 07 absolutely loving it got a nice collection of games building up and am even toying with the idea of an fps which would make my pc completely redundant.

went for mine purely for the back catalogue have managed to get about 5-10 new games for under £15 which just isn't an option on the ps3

I did that and it scratched my GoW disk. Its more likely to scratch disks in the vertical position i think. It is probably much better for cooling though.

Same as that - I had to polish my Bioshock disc with t-cut for hours to get the bloody scratches/groove off my bioshock disc!!
