Cozwin, Sorry you feel that way. I've been reading HEXUS daily for over 3 years. The contest didn't list residency requirements & the HEXUS crew didn't find out until after I'd been selected as a winner.
I also read a number of other British websites on a daily basis (plus a few others from around the world), I also enter their contests, should I stop that as well? I've won a few things before, but nothing of this magnitude.

I'm sure there's no ill will at all Ken.
Personally my gripe is with the US sites that restrict offers and competitions to US residents.
I think it's entirely reasonable that Hexus have no residency requirements. I just wish people like Fileplanet recognised that there is life outside the US. They're quite happy to take our money. We just get less value for money because we can't have everything they offer to you guys.
We want everyone to be able to enjoy what we offer - editorial - tv - community - and competitions! :)

I know that the original ZERO-G piece was more 'dramatic' cos we got to see Martian, Lunar and Zero-G...
...but, for me, the winner's story IS what the competition is all about
This is arguably the coolest prize ever (until HEXUS actually starts shooting people into outer space :mrgreen:)...
...and it was a 100% TRUE competition - open to any of the ~1.8 million unique IPs who hit the site every month from across the globe...
...regardless of location, knowledge-level or Apple/PC/Console-luvvin persuasion...
...and it does seem to make people happy !
