    Football's Premier League considering overseas matches

    It has been revealed that the English Premier League is considering adding a 39th game to the Premier League season, with the final fixture for each team to be played overseas. Could this be the worst idea in football, ever?

    A load of bollocks - why would they all for one random extra match - it wouldn't be fair at all.

    It's such a wacky idea!

    It'd be far better if they took Premier League sides out of the Carling Cup and put them in a standalone cup to be played overseas. 20 Premier League sides, random draw, knockout format, all games played overseas.

    ...actually, THAT's a wacky idea!

    When it comes down to it, it is all about money. There is already too much money in the premier league and not enough in the lower leagues, there is no balance to it. There is no need for the premier league to promote its self abroad, the clubs them selves can and do, do that during summer tours.
