    I don't think its such a big deal for AMD, they can invest in open source alternatives such as ODE or Sony's Bullet, or just bypass it all with a Physics Abstraction Layer (pal.sourceforge.net).

    I have to say, I like the idea of putting it on the chipset. In my opinion, their motherboard need more than SLi (not entirely unique to their board anywa) to differentiate from the competition.
