Sony tip ‘LittleBigPlanet’ to be biggest PS3 game of 2008

Personally, I would have had all my money on Metal Gear Solid 4 being the most popular title on the PS3 in 2008, but Sony believe that the community-based game ‘LittleBigPlanet’ has the potential to take that accolade.

Gonna be a big flop imo.....it seems like too much work building all these levels for other people to play them. I dont think quirky chracters and a cool environment will be enough.

Definitely hit or miss. I hope this works though, it's a nice idea.

i think it will work well, at the end of the day look at all the people that make sims furniture for other people to use or cod maps for other people to play. This is just about the only game that makes me interested in the ps3 at the moment.

The demos of it have looked really cool.

It depends if the PS3 environment has enough of the non hardcore gamers tho does it not?. I mean don't get me wrong i think its probably very cool idea, but maybe if it was on the Wii you'd have a more appropriate audience?.....

Very good point. You think this is enough to attract the casual gamer into picking up a PS3?
