Hmmm, question is will they stick to the things we already know from the original trilogy or will they now be changing things to suit the new trilogy and ruining whats gone before...
Last I heard is that this was a direct follow up to T3... so the Terminatrix still has technology taken from the Knight Industries Two Thousand ("Microjam mode" anyone?)
I quite like the idea of a new trilogy myself, I do believe it's a step in the right direction.
Likewise, I actually thought that Terminator 3 had the best ending out of all three Terminator movies. I liked that they finally accepted that the war was inevitable and trying to stop it was just futile.
Now that the war IS happening, Terminator 4, 5 and 6 have lots of potential as a new trilogy. I just hope it's dark and scary like Terminator 1.
It ends with a bang at least....
... then again - so do most Hollywood sex films as well.
