Surely not Sharpe? Richard Sharpe of the 95th Rifles? Hero of the battle of Talavera? Bit old (and fictional) to be messing around with TVs isn't he?
What Salazaar said, as much as Womenfolk love Sean Bean, he doesn't make TVs :P
Damn!! :angst:
i came here more in hope than expectation :(
I should make it clear that the former Denver Broncos tight-end Shannon Sharpe was also not involved in the deal.
girly name or what?
also: tight-end? :o
Neither was Tom Sharpewho spent most of his time writing slightly humourous novels.
I'd much prefer a Richard Sharpe, Lieutenant Colonel of the South Essex, LCD TV. Anyone slapping the telly for a better picture will get a swift knee in the nuts for his troubles. :surprised:
<Sharpe Geek>
I think you'll find Sharpe was never a Lieutenant Colonel of the South Essex, he only achieved that rank upon taking a place on William of Orange's staff during the battle of Waterloo.
(I can't believe I just posted that :geek:)
...and of course Shannon isn't the only sporting Sharpe. There's his brother Sterling, who's career as a wide receiver was cut short by injury.
Then there is John Sharpe, the one-eyed 19th century English fast bowler and, of course, Lee Sharpe, the former Man U left-winger, who's career was also cut short by injury and who was last seen attending to Abi Titmuss on Celebrity Love Island.
