We like it, and we also like the fact that the 'X' on the top looks more like our own logo than the official Microsoft one - if only it did glow a nice shade of orange…
    Hexus Xbox mod, anyone?

I like it (as I did the prototype), btu why have they made it so big, as a desktop its pretty huge. They could easily have side mounted the 120mm and optical drive surely

Whats with the lame looking "biscuit tin packaging" fan cowl?
I like the case, but it lacks the pizazz that Lian-Li usually has.
And you can guarantee the price over here will be £80

wouldn't you then be a bit scuppered if your Xbox then went and developed the ol 'ring o death' syndrome, or perhaps even it's DVD drive packed up (as mine has 3 times now). I don't think the microsoft rep would look too kindly on that arriving through the post...

immensely disappointed by the external power brick, tbh. all of a sudden it goes from an interesting option to a way to make the 360 twice the size it is

This is a preproduction sample, they are still working hard on improving it, they even said themselves the cowling needs work.

As for the power brick issue they are looking into it, I am more interested to see if they figure out a way to get the additional storage in there...

It's a good thing that someone finally comes up with a case replacement with innovative cooling solution for the 360. But expect to be banned with this baby because MS can detect non-stock fans on all 360s

Are you F*ing kidding me dude? I have my Xbox 360 running off a replacement fan (non-stock) along with 3 different fans all 4 soldered to the same 12v power source on the motherboard for higher more efficient cooling. It is NOT the fans speed or stock/non-stock fans that they detect for modded Xboxs and banning, it's the DVD ROM disc speed that is monitored. And if not running at the precise speed then yes, you have the chance of being banned but ONLY based on the Game Disc drive speed, not the fans.

Thumbs down Re: Lian-Li want to cool your Xbox 360

This case is a frakin joke. Who in their right mind would purchase this monstrosity and why?
The ONLY feasible advantage that this thing could have is running cooler. So maybe 1.5 years ago I would be interested in this. I own a v3 360 with the 65nm cpu and falcon mobo, and it runs so much freakin cooler than a v1 or even v2, so whats the point now?

Hey I have an idea, hows about replacing a pc cace with a refridgerator, I know it's gonna be bigger, but it'll run a little cooler.

And wtf are they making a big deal about their case having an hdmi slot? The case frakin better have hdmi, it's been manufactured on all 360 models since august '07. They are just trying to advertise for this piece of ****e.

I truely feel sorry for whoever gets roped into this frakin scam.

This is a trade show where new products are shown off to the industry and press. The very fact that lian li have begun to think about this means that its only going to be the start of high grade product manufacturers working on high end solutions.

Oh and as you seem to think that saying its an advert. I own an Xbox 360, its an early one with no HDMI. Do I want HDMI? I suppose so, but i am not about to buy the whole console over again, thats more of an issue to me as an end user of a 360 than a 3rd party case offering.

I got screwed buy buying early - Toshiba did it to me with HDDVD too. C'est la vie.

Oooof too much BSG watching and not enough understanding as to what trade shows are about...

The product is crap, what does it matter if it's in a trade show or on the shelves?

Re: Lian-Li want to cool your Xbox 360

Looks pretty sweet to me, maybe a bit on large side. Once my 3 year warranty is up I may get one of these and watercool my 360.

And why are people obsessing over having the power brick inside? It'll only add more heat internally and mean that they are restricted in how much they can reduce the case's size.

Oh yeah well google this: xbox 360 fan mods bans
It's just a matter of time before you get banned...

And btw, DVD read speed has nothing to do with banning. MS bans if you play with unstealthed / screwed rips that's all. The thing is that the hacked firmware comes in multiple speed versions and if it would cause bans then only the original speed would be available... which is not the case.
