OQO launch world's smallest Vista PC

Until this morning, if someone had offered you a Windows Vista PC with a 1.6GHz processor, 1GB system memory, 120 GB hard drive and Office – you might have expected it to come out of their laptop bag. However, following OQO’s launch of their brand new e2 UMPC range, that specification can be stuck in your trouser pocket

    Amazing thing to hold/use

When I got my current PDA, I thought that a 400MHz CPU with 64MB Ram etc was 'the plums'

This thing is an interesting glimpse into the kind of future products we'll all take for granted

Re: OQO launch world's smallest Vista PC

I've liked the OQO since it was first released.

How long ago was that? 2005 the 01 model was realeased, but they were speaking about it since 2002.

The HTC Shift is realy nice too Hopefully technology has caught up with the concept of these devices now.

I thought 'PC runs Vista' was a pretty good story

Re: OQO launch world's smallest Vista PC

Has anyone got BOTH the OQO model 2 and the 01/01+? There's been a few "comparison reviews" online, but none that really helped, I felt.

(Conversely, if someone thinks they've got a really good review bookmarked, please chuck it our way...)

Thanks in anticipation fo your thoughts.
