I for one welcome our female geek overlords
(especially if they look like the girl in the photo)
Girls are too busy sending meaningless 'Zombie bites' and 'hug's on Facebook.
Seriously, I hope more women do get into gaming, the more the merrier
I've seen it first hand. My sister now owns her own Xbox 360 and regularly kicks my ass when playing Guitar Hero online.
Then there's my girlfriend who kicks my ass on the DS Lite.
As Yoda himself once said, dangerous and disturbing this puzzle is. :surrender:
Does this mean hexus is going to get a dating section
Gotta find girls stupid enough to go in it though... I mean... you lot?!
:D
Right, well, I'll have to invest some more of my time gaming... can't have the americans taking over can we?!
Too Late :( *must go to gym*Quote:
Men are commonly referred to as the TV-watching, game-playing, web-surfing, couch-potato slobs. Watch out ladies, that'll be your title next!
I don't think a woman is capable of being a "geek".
Technologically aware definately, enjoying computer games is also a definate yes, but to be a proper geek and care about things like how the Klingon's apperance changed over the TV series, or how many FPS they get out of their rig whilst not giving a damn about their apperance or figure...
I don't think that'll ever happen en masse!
Lucio, I don't care about those things but am still definitely a gook.
Although you have touched on something now. It is becoming cool to be a geek now, and everyone that shows an interest in tech is being labled as such (often labeling themselfs).
I've been searching for a missus who will sit down and play games with me! At last the dream may be approaching fruition! Good news I think :)
I think women are capable of being just as geeky as us fellas. A friend of mine is a complete geek/nerd about shoes, handbags and various rubbish tv shows and she has the nerve to call me a geek!
[Goes back to nit-picking X-Files episodes.]
