    Production designer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull eases fan-fears by stating that the movie will in fact be mostly free of CGI.

    if I recall they made a big thing about something similar for batman begins - not too much cgi and more 'real' stuff...worked pretty well too! bring on the Jones!!

    I was really looking forward to hyper-agile and elastic CGI Indy 'distance shots' coupled with 'close-ups' of Harrison Ford sped up duting the fight scenes. lol

    Maybe, just maybe George Lucas has learnt lessons from the awful first two and mediocre third episodes of Star Wars

    You'd have thought George would have learnt the error of his ways after Episode I though!

    Personally, I'm not against CGI. When used right, it can really add to a scene. However, Indiana Jones films were great in my opinion largely because of the awesome sets and real stunts which looked the part. Replacing those with CGI would take away part of the experience and authenticity.
