    btw it's Poulsbo, not Paulsbo

(don't worry, you aren't the only ones to make the mistake)

Apparently, the Poulsbo IGP will only consume about 120mW during H.264 decode. So you could have a complete HD decoding, general purpose HTPC system that only consumes a few watts of power.

Actually you could probably get it down to 2.5Watts total. It can then be powered over USB

Re: Intel details first Atom CPU speeds and prices

Why is there such a price difference between the Z530 (1.6GHz - $95) and the Z540 (1.86GHz - $160) ? Is it because Intel are finding it hard to get chips that can hit 1.86GHz, the fact that they just whack a premium on the top chip or... ?
    Main - Intel Core i5 2300 @ 3.5GHz, 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, Asus P8P67 Pro, Coolermaster iGreen 600w, GTX 480, Antec One Case
