"Coming to the rescue" isn't how I'd put it.Google is attempting to come to the rescue, however, at least for the more active of business owners.

- hand it over at the door. It'll be returned when you leave, or
- turn it off and leave it off for the duration of the visit, or
- don't visit.

Your nearest black marketeers. Probably wouldn't be cheap though, given how much moral panic such a device would generate.
Look instead for a mobile signal booster. Just as illegal, just as effective at jamming signals due to the quality chinese construction and at most a few hundred pounds.
