    Corsair launches 667MHz Apple Mac Pro memory kit

    Corsair has today added fully buffered 2GiB & 4GiB DIMM kits to its Mac Memory line.

    Isn't mac memory the same as standard memory now? (except the price difference)

    These are FBDimms - so they are the same as PC ones but the key difference is the heatspreader due to the wind tunnel that the MacPro uses.

    Umm, at 667Mhz this is only for the first generation Intel Mac Pro's... the 2008 variety needs 800Mhz FB DIMMs... welcome to 2006 Corsair?

    I'm in the UK and decided to get RAM for my 2008 Mac Pro from OWC... one very happy customer here! Even including the dreaded UK customs import duty and VAT it only came to £160 for 4GB ! Bargain!
