i saw the teaser trailer of this, this weekend and i have to say im quite impressed. the trailer looked 'Dark' which is a key element of MK and also of the original DC presentations like Batman and such were Dark.

Midway Games has today confirmed that it is merging two Marvel Universes together
Don't think that's quite right somehow....

Re: Midway Unveils Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

i dont see how this'll work but the idea of being able to tear supermans head off or toasty batman could be fun

    *edit*
just read a rumour about no blood or fatalitys, this idea sucks.

now if only capcom and midway combined to make mk vs sf, now thats a good idea

Re: Midway Unveils Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

It strikes me that there are two distinct problems with this crossover...Batman doesn't kill and Superman doesn't die, of course those aren't really problems if you're shooting for a teen rated game and hence bigger sales numbers....

Ah well, at least they've got some guys in from DC to knock up the storyline.

Some charas from the DC Universe will kill either. But imo who will/can kill whom ist not the question. this depends on the skill of your gamecontrol mastery. I want no story, I wanna fight. Imo the new MK will be a nice Beat'em Up with a good gameplay and some new features.
