And to comment on the point above you would be surprised how many chavs in the que were getting it for PS3, and the normal folk seemed to be getting it on 360 in HMV yesterday...

I think the PS3 will win out; the playstation always seems to in the end.

When it comes to putting my money where my mouth is I actually bought a 360 this week purely for GTA, not been anything to pull me away from the wii/PC til now.

Simple math, PS3 is £120 more. I intend on getting a PS3 eventually, just as soon as GT5 proper and MGS are both out. Hopefully there'll be another price drop before then.

I think there will be more copies sold for the X360 due to larger install base, but conversely more PS3s will be sold as a result of GTA4.

Seriously, what does it matter. I've got a 360 and my mates got a ps3, I can't tell the difference except his is quieter and mine cost less.

They both do pretty much the same thing so who gives a flying fudge spanner?

Having already got a PS3 and bought the game on that, i wanted a 360 anyways... but seeing GTA + console at play.com for only £200, i couldnt help but buy it... so it has made me buy a xbox 360, although i bought it on ps3 which i already owned anyway.
