I only really use mobile bb for checking the footy results on the weekend and it can be a bit slow but then I thnk thats caused more by the sites themselves.

I though 3G speeds where supposed to be faster than dsl max lol.

Are you trying to confuse things on purpose with the title?

"Mobile broadband averaging only 182KB/s: fast enough?"

Every other reference to broadband or networking bandwidth is in mbit, yet the title is in KByte. I have to admit that when I first read it I assumed that the average speed was 182kbit. If that was the case, then no, that is not an acceptable throughput for mobile "broadband". However 1.46Mbps I think is.
