    700 quid for a pair of headphones? Never mind wood, I'd want gold for that much.
    Yet another example of how a fool and his money is parted. No doubt they'll sell a few to people who need to improve their ePenile statistics.

    Its probably for studio professionals... Just like in certain labs they may spend £20,000 on computing hardware... Its not designed for the home user

    I think they're too cheap for that. It's more likely that they're after the type of person who believes that a thousand pound mains cable is going to improve the sound quality or the bloke who wants others to think that he's more of an enthusiast than they are because he spends more than they do.

    £700 (and that's expected RRP, remember, so street pricing may well be a fair bit lower) is not a ridiculous price if these really are audiophile quality. But they will only appeal to, and are targeted at, those with high expectations and the wherewithal to fulfil those expectations.
