i have not had a single problem with it on my T60p it even seems slightly faster.
Fantastic experience here to be honest - install was a breeze, no problems and boot-up seems faster.
AMD X2 user here.
I gather the problems only arise when you use an Intel-customised XP install image, which you'd be daft to do on an AMD machine.
30+ machines done at work, 0 issues.
2 home machines 0 issues.

I've updated my PC and Laptop at home and had no obvious issues with it. The PC did freeze up a couple of times whilst playing some games but I think that might have been due to some overheating.
Its not an AMD issue by the sounds of things, its a driver issue with OEM's including the wrong ones on their images.Quote:

the only issue i had was max open connections being reset in SP3

I keep getting the odd explorer crash now where I didnt before..
I'm getting issues when shutting down. Instead of going to the 'Windows is shutting down' page, it reboots itself straight from explorer, which is a bit of a worry. It means if I want to switch the thing off, I have to wait for it to do a restart, then a shut down from the login screen. Apparently it's an issue with some Logitech USB driver, but I don't know when there's going to be a fix.
