So Ham is the Grandson of the first monkey in space, and a circus chimp, right got that.

Where I'm getting lost is how the hell does anyone expect a monkey to explore space on his own? You cant even get a monkey to make a decent cup of tea with out it decending in to a s**t flinging contest.

Or do the monkies live on some far flung planet where primates have evolved to a point where they have mastered interstella flight, but failed to evolve an upright walking stance?

Also how much training are/did they give said circus monkey to be able to pilot what must be a pretty advanced bit of kit? Come on George Bush fails at the most basic of tasks i.e eating, and he's as close to the realms of a space fairing monkey I can think of

Maybe im looking into this a little to far?

Didn't the US send a monkey into space once? I'd say if any animal is fit to explore space it's a monkey.
