Dashing, yes - but perhaps a little on the large side? I would expect most manufacturers (as we have already seen from Gigabyte in fact) to be showing off the G45 in HTPC-friendly micro-ATX form.
And with a name like concerto, surely this is supposed to be aimed at the media-PC market? A nice-looking board, but not sure about the form factor.
Looks absolutely perfect for a future upgrade from my current Asus P5E-V (G35 ATX) board in my HTPC. If they follow the same route and also provide for an mATX sized board as Asus has done with the P5E-VM it should complete the roundout for most people.
With the G35 chipset seemingly having been dropped by board manufacturers and intel I have high hopes for what the G45 chipset can provide, lets hope intel get it right and can also improve their driver support so that a few more boards are released at decent price points.
