Excellent... even more smug people going around with a false sense of superiority because they overpaid for their computer.

Even more people not understanding that the average consumer sometimes just wants a solution - and the price isn't ridiculous when all is taken in to account it can work out good value.

I use both an XP machine and an OS X machine and the balance between saying "Oh, I wish OS X could do this better" and "Oh I wish XP could do this better" is definitely skewing to the latter!

True enough, but can the same not be said for Vista?

Is there a case for using Vista that the new Windows OS will be launched around 2010? I've just recently switched to Mac and I can honestly say I don't think I'll be going back to PC!

Love 'em or hate 'em Apple design excellent computers that scream "cool". Coupled with an excellent robust and glossy OS they really can't go wrong especially as people realise they don't need Windows to email and surf the net or even to write Granny a letter... I would quite happily go for a Mac over a PC crippled by Windows!
