I'd like to see how it fares against the OCZ XTC Cooler

which imo looks a bit better

Price is good though, but the OCZ one doesn't void ram warranty as it fits onto the ram with heatspreaders

But I must say the XTC is bloody hard to get in the UK...

Everyone is always out of stock!!!

i would love to know if its capable of staying in place with plastic clips, if it does i will buy one as its less restrictive than the ocz model, and the corsair one is pants with small fans at 4.5k

mind u looking at the other pics it wont fit anything other than the ram its designed for, oh well ocz here we come

    It can't be that restrictive

I'll let you know how it does when I get mine. My mobo can hit 60 when running prime with my ballistix's

now this is something. but with those fans protruding out wondering if it will hit some of the other components on the board - maybe a bad design?

Those temps are good, and its very cheap. I'd like to see some photos of it actually in a rig before I make a decision.

Re: Headlines - Arctic Cooling launches the RC Turbo Module, finally

and I'm glad I got the OCZ XTC, just installed and it can slide over to cool the northbridge too
It wasn't gonna fit up against my graphics card but it included normal screws and thumbscrews. They really thought of everything. I had to cut a bit of the plastic packaging and sandwich it between the card and cooler so it didn't short anything and it's running fine now

    Love it

Re: Headlines - Arctic Cooling launches the RC Turbo Module, finally

motherboard was hitting 60, cpu overall was hitting 48c under load (prime95 blend test max heat)
now the cpu was hitting 44 and the mobo was at 40. I've placed it more over the northbridge/cpu side, something which this cooler (arctic) can't seem to do. Like I mentioned they include counter-sunk screws so you can fit it if your graphics card is real close. So right now I'm using counter-sunk screw and thumbscrew on mine right now. You can move it side ways as well to cool other stuff if you wish which is an advantage it has over this one. Although it wont support high heatsink rams like dominators and dhx or this arctic ram but maybe ocz will release higher stand-offs.
