2 years later, and £35 more expensive, than it damn well should have been

I shipped mine in ages ago, cost cheaper than a new normal PS3 pad! Why they delayed this is anyones guess over here.

...I thought it was out already? My mate has a 60gig PS3 with the wireless dual shock controller since...well for ages. I don't remember playing a game on his PS3 without that controller.

the ps3 shipped with the "sixaxis" wireless pad, which has no rumble. the dualshock 3 is a sixaxis with the rumble put back in

but it was nothing to do with a lawsuit with immersion technologies inc, no siree. it was just last-gen compared to waving your elbows about to do melee attacks. and it was also impossible to do rumble AND motion sensing. yep.

Re: Dualshock 3 for PS3 hits Europe this week

My friend does have the original sixaxis controller but he has had the sixaxis wih rumble for almost just as long. It was one of his first purcahses for the PS3.

Maybe he imported in. Just seemed the norm to me to have sixaxis with rumble.

The six axis is being discontinued as well, so you'll see the remaining stock bundled with new PS3 packages to get rid of it.
