    What a stupid move to be honest, I'd say a lot of people already have a PS2 in there household .. why the need for yet another slim version? This is as crazy as toshiba trying to keep dvd going ...

    Actually it makes perfect sense. The PS2 still sells very well across the world, with at least another 2-4 years of life left in the console. Bringing the PSU into the main housing will allow the manufacturing cost to drop and allowing a neater package.
