Headlines :: Portal: Still Alive, why buy this Xbox 360 'exclusive'?

We were excited as the next man when the next Portal game was announced this week, but our enthusiasm has quickly died a death.

    That's a very odd conclusion.

As for why buy it I don't understand the problem - just because a game doesn't contain exclusive content it doesn't suddenly make the rest of the (supposedly excellent) game suddenly turn into mush.

Not that odd a conclusion surely?

If you paid up for Xbox live then it's reasonable to assume you have broadband - be serious, why would you pay £50 a year for something that you can't use. And very few people i'd have thought would pay for broadband solely for use with a console.

The problem with paying, as i see it, is that it was available for download free on the internet - and MS appears to be trying to make a quick buck out of it.

It figures that everyone who has Xbox live will have a broadband connection and therefore will have a PC. So, apart from scoring themselves a few extra achievement points, why the hell would anyone buy Portal Still Alive?
Have you tried playing Portal on a PC World / Dell / Dixons PC? No?
Try it and you'll find out why

We are enthusiasts. We have powerful PC's because we can. The % of the PC market we make up is tiny and Portal really does require a little bit more than you're average PC world jobbie.

It's not actually that exclusive, we can get all the level already for the PC, according to Rock,Paper Shotgun
