Not sure I'd describe it as Atari's trump card - they are only co-publishing this title (as announced in October last year). Alone in the Dark was their proper biggy. Still, this could be a good game.

Was looking at Atari's list though of games for this year and this is about the only one that screams out. There's a racing game in there somewhere, but out of all of them, this is the biggest title.

Alone in the Dark is getting mixed responses everywhere down to the poor controls.

From reviews I have read about the Wii version, it is stay well away as a lot off effects are cut right back so you are literally in the dark! Also from reading the 360 reviews the controls don't work to well in tight situations. You get rushed and you are goosed trying to go through the inventory system.

Wonder how the PC version will fare in comparison.

Ah I get you, sorry. Thought you were talking about this years games fullstop, not this years E3 games

Similar controls problem apparently. Fine if you spend ages getting used to them but certainly frustration is high on a number of reviews.
