Re: Headlines - Lian Li launches PC-7F and PC-60F midi-tower chassis

If you're wondering what the difference between the two chassis is, you've every reason as there's actually very little difference at all. The PC-7F has smooth rounded vent holes and the PC-60F has a more open bezel front face. That minor change caters to unique different tastes, says Lian Li.
Lian Li have a very weird numbering scheme. PC-6F and PC7F I could understand if they are so similar or indeed PC-7F and PC-70F etc.

But PC-7F and PC-60F? how confusing!

Shame we don't have an indication of pricing as that is a really good looking case in my opinion. So refreshing to see case design with a bit of subtelty about it!

Some would say dull, I say refined.

Re: Headlines - Lian Li launches PC-7F and PC-60F midi-tower chassis

I love Lian Li cases. They're just so well made. Easily the best quality cases I've ever seen.
Carlsberg don't make PC cases but if they did they'd be like Lian Li cases

I almost want to buy a 360 just so I can get one of their cases for it.

I have never had a Lian Li case.

I have never been a huge fan of exposed bays, i really like clean lines.

Though the 'moddability' and accessory list for most Liam Li case is fairly long.

Re: Headlines - Lian Li launches PC-7F and PC-60F midi-tower chassis

Although it looks great, the lack of a side window is dissapointing. Maybe a pre-existing lian-li windowed side will fit but the ones I have seen show parts of the drive bays and it spoils the whole look. I would end up just getting the new antec 900 or 1200 over this. I wish lian-li would learn that if they make gaming cases like the PC-P80 armoursuit then they should also make good looking windowed panels.

The good thing is they DO make these new cases with side windows. PC-7FW and PC-60FW, and they look great. The PC-7FW is the one I'm waiting to be imported into Australia, can't wait.

I can't post the url, but they are on the Lian Li website, just choose the image from the scrolling product range at the top of the page.

Re: Headlines - Lian Li launches PC-7F and PC-60F midi-tower chassis

It's really good that these cases have side windows as they are gaming style cases. The windows is much better than some of the other lian-li ones that show a lot of drive bays, i would say these ones are about perfect.
