Not sure why the article is using figures in Pound Sterling when Netflix is a US orientated service.
even MS says it's not for Europe, so what's with this 'global audience' bit, eh?

Why do people continually list the cost of Live and not look longer than 1 year? Live subscription fees in a few years will go beyond what you're talking about for the cost of Vista P, and even then, most PCs that I see are coming with Vista P. You're acting like people are just upgrading their OS, when in fact since most people upgrade their PCs every 3 years or so, they will be getting Vista premium for free.
Also look at the article at the bottom. There are other ways to stream besides using Vista P. The article writed just happened to mention the most recent OS being used.
More thought needs to be put into these articles. Expect to spend £160 on Live fees, and how hard would it have been to include this service into the Silver program, especially considering Netflix is hosting everything?

I don't get what people are "complaining" about as such with this addition of netflix etc.
It's not as if people are going to go out of their way to buy a 360 and £40 live subscription JUST to stream movies via the console to their TV.
I mean first and foremost Xbox Live is a gaming service and i consider Netflix to be say a bonus rather than a core feature as such =/.
Did they announce anything for Europe? or is it just the US again.
