This rumour has been floating about for ages now, at least they have finally confirmed it. Hope that they do it without a fee like Guild Wars.
Great that Bioware are doing it also. In my eyes these guys know RPG's and know what their players want.
Loved the first KOTOR, not so keen on the second. Loved Jade empire. Didn't like Mass Effect.
So the next one from Bioware I should love, i hope!

Works in the same way as the Star Trek films, first one was great the it literally went good, bad throughout the entire run of films.
Hopefully Enterprise when released will be excellent.

I have never played KOTOR to this day. Going to try and pick it up this aft. My brother goy it for the XBox a few years ago and said it was awesome. Have to give it a shot. At the time I was more into the Star Wars action games like Jedi Academy and Jedi Knight 2.
I hope it's better than Mass Effect which was one of the poorest RPGs I've had the misfortune to play. If they just revamp KoToR then they'll be on a winner!
Mass Effect is unsure of what it actually is. A third person action game or RPG. It works under both genres but could have quite easily have been one or the other with more depth on either side. Personally I love it, really addictive, I do prefer The Witcher though.
could this rival teh lieks of wow and AOC? :P
I think this is great news, The EA and Bioware tie up can only be a good thing. KOTOR great.... We look forward with antisipation to the future releases. Cheers.

The combat spoiled it for me in Mass Effect. I gave up with it pretty early on.

I am one of the original SWG players... before SOE butchered it....
I can only hope this latest attempt with Bioware is everything that SWG started out to be and more!
I can't wait for this game, I loved the original KoTOR games, and if this is done right an MMO would be insanely good.
Oh yes the KOTOR games were awesome, Bioware will hopeully do this well like many things.

Some absolutely great games in there, and at worst slightly above average, overall I'm very confident this will be an MMO worth paying for and playing unlike the vast majority on the shelves at the minute.
